The Alpina BC1600 is a perfect option for the backcountry cross country skier looking for warmth and durability. Toe Box Protection uses a tough construction in the toes to help guard against injury from buried objects in the snowpack. Thinsulate Insulation helps prevent cold toes as you trek through the woods. A Medium Flex will drive energy through to your skis to help you power through firm or deep conditions. Alpina adds an Anatomical Footbed that supports your foot for stronger gliding.

As far as warmth is concerned, the BC1600 are a very warm boots. Your feet will stay warm and dry all day long. The Anatomic footbed will provide the necessary arch support for long days while the inner boot with speed lacing will hold your foot firmly in place.
